Most knowledge work is forced to occur within a small set of tools: a Word document, an email thread, a chat window, or a paper notebook. Each is right for some part of thinking and wrong for the rest. Sitting over a keyboard and editing word by word is essential for refining an idea once it exists, but it's a poor way to innovate a new one. In the early stages of shaping an idea, I prefer to use an audible instrument to think — to be able to listen to information, and to leave my thoughts as contextualized notes directly on the document just by talking. Dubs is that instrument.

Documents, annotations, and notes form a linked Markdown library for organizing and developing ideas. From there, send information into other tools and workflows or give agents exactly the context they need.
